The story of Grace & Kin

Thank you for joining me for my bi-monthly small brand interviews. This month I’d love to introduce you to the beautiful Laura from the effortless, special & timeless jewellery brand, Grace & Kin.

Tell us a little more about who you are and where you are from?

We are a family run independent jewellery brand based in rural Herefordshire creating meaningful jewellery that’s both sentimental and effortlessly wearable. Grace & Kin is all about making everyday moments special, through the art of gift- giving, both for oneself and between loved ones. Our contemporary and quality pieces, crafted in a palette of gold and silver tones, all of which are perfect to add the finishing touch to an outfit or for gifting someone extra special.

What was the inspiration for the Grace & Kin name?

Kinship is really important to us, that connection and love between friends or loved ones is a big part about what we do here and the moments created when gifting jewellery. Grace means elegance so the two names together felt like a perfect match.

Who’s your inspiration in the jewellery industry?

There are so many but I adore Lori Muldoon for their pearl earring designs and Gemma Gough, a local jewellery designer, her pieces are just stunning.

Do you have a favourite design or product you’ve produced?

My favourite has to be the 18K Gold Plated Delicate Abstract Freshwater Pearl Drop Earrings. It was the first jewellery design I ever did for Grace and Kin so I think it will always be special to me.

Where do you see Grace & Kin in the next five years?

We have big plans, we want to develop our waterproof jewellery range, build our gifting offering and hopefully provide a wholesale service too.

Supporting small is always important, especially when they are this beautiful. Visit Grace & Kin here.
